ABOUT

So far, we are a rhythm section (bass and drums). We are looking for another powerhouse of a musician to join us and create a sonic landscape. Our ultimate goal is to create a unique instrumental live show that combines music with theatrics to present an unceasingly entertaining show for the audience.

We both are confident in our vision and ability on our respective instruments but need that third dimension to really bring it to the next level.

A little about ourselves:
Jim(bassist) - I started playing bass around 2001 and have been thumping ever since. I'm always trying to learn new techniques and expand my arsenal of gear. I can slap, pop, tap, and make most sounds that I need to when I need to. I play with a pick but have a hybrid style that encompasses everything above.

Elijah(drummer) - Avidly playing since 1998. I'm a dedicated rock drummer with ample film and theater experience who's well versed in odd time signatures and possesses the dynamic range to know when to hit hard and when not. We want to create a band where the drummer has a more forward-facing role and allows for an element of percussion not found in most rock music.

EQUIPMENT

Jim:
Hoboy. I love collecting axes. Currently, I am playing on a modified jazz bass and a 5 string Ibanez custom shop.
I typically play through a Sansamp and use some Darkglass gear for distortion. Lots of effects are available behind that.

Elijah:
I play a Pearl Masters Custom 4-piece acoustic kit with a Yamaha brass Nouveau 14x7 snare, Istanbul Agop cymbals and a 22" Sabian HH Dry Bell Ride. At home I have a custom-made Roland TD-17 electronic kit.

Together, we have a practice space and a pile of recording equipment all hooked up. So if magic happens, we just press record and can easily get it down and access it. Nothing "studio" quality but it's way more than adequate to make a high-quality demo.
