We are Wearing the Inside Out, a fairly established hard alternative rock group from Pittsburgh, PA. Upon completion, our lineup will consist of five pieces; a vocalist, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. However due to a recent parting of ways with our former vocalist, we are currently in search of someone new to fill the lineup.

In our time together, we've accomplished a great deal such as releasing two EPs and a music video, and this Summer, playing our first few out of town shows in Cleveland, Nashville, and Memphis. Possibly our most popular song, "You" from our first demo EP gets occasional play on Pittsburgh rock station 105.9 the X and was featured at PNC Park at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.

Venues we've played in the area include Altar Bar, Mr. Smalls, Stage AE, The Rex Theater, The Smiling Moose, and many others. In addition to headlining several shows at these venues, we've had the privilege of opening for numerous large acts such as Cavo, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hurt, and Set it Off.

It was a shame for us to have to part ways with our vocalist at such a time of momentum, therefore we are looking for someone who is just committed to achieving success as we are. Potential vocalists must be willing to make time in their schedule to practice individually and with the group. Also, since we intend to play out of town more and more in the future, it is essential that you are willing to travel. Keep in mind that in some cases (not always), we must pay for things such as recording time and sell tickets to shows. This band is an investment, and the money we put into it tends to stay within the band so make sure you're comfortable with investing your time and money into this. Past experience in bands is also a huge plus in addition to lyric-writing.

We're looking for someone young (18-30) and talented with tons of energy onstage. We focus intensely on the quality of our live shows and need someone who in addition to just hitting the notes, can interact with the crowd and build a powerful connection with the audience.

Lastly, all the current members of this band intend to make a living off of our music so the same is expected of anyone else who auditions.
