ABOUT

Hi. Here's a bit about me and what I'm looking for.

I started singing professionally 15 years ago when someone convinced me they could train me to. Since then, I've been working on my range and branching out into new genre's. I can go real low, and I think the most difficult high note was the "fly my way" bit in Turn Me Loose from Loverboy. Genre wise, I started with Queen, have toured in musicals, greatly enjoy watching people's reactions when I sing Informer by Snow, and recently gave growling a try (she's gonna need technique to not lose her voice XD). I've sang with a handful of groups here and there and I enjoy just about every genre like I said.

As far as vocals, I'd dig being a lead singer, but I do enjoy sharing the mic too if it's like a this person takes these songs kinda thing, and I'm down to backup sing (we love harmonies here).

What really pushed me to get back into the music scene is hearing the call of the bass. I used to mess around with one ages ago cause a friend had several and lent it to me. I started with my Squier Affinity PJ to have an affordable low risk investment to develop skills. I cannot stand the action on it and was made to feel foolish because of it. Then I found perhaps the best deal on my Lucca, a limited edition exclusive Schecter Studio 5. However, if there's a certain tone you want out of the bass that I vibe with too, and it's the bass so I can't imagine it not, I'll buy new gear based on the needs of the band and find every reason to use it anyway.
