Primarily I am a bass player. Have a good enough range to backup most singers. Willing to work hard and I am goal oriented. I can play some guitar as well.
Frankly I am not interested in playing cover songs unless there is money to be made. Original music is my passion. Collabirating with like minded individuals would be great. My main goal is to write (collectively or alone) and record original music. Remakes/updates with a spin are okay too.
Played in cover bands for twenty years... primarily a wedding band because it was easy money. Played in a number of original bands that went no where. Recorded some, mostly my originals. Allternative rock.
I am happy to jam with anyone and support your effort to write and record original music as long as you play and sing in tune... most of the time.

Influences
Blues based rock has influenced me the most. As a kid I played (uninspired) cello and sang in a church choir. My early influences were the MC-5, Cream, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Stones, U-2, The Police, English Beat, Mitch Ryder, Ramones. I like a lot of bands. No real favorites. I like a lot of 90's music. Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Prince, Nine inch nails, Pearl Jam, Guns N'Roses, REM, Cure, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rancid...
If I listen to the radio its usually The Current.
