I started at age 6 working with a mentor who was a fantastic jazz drummer and have never really stopped playing and learning. I want to have fun. I’m serious about playing and practicing, but if we aren’t having fun then it’s not the right fit.

EQUIPMENT
I’m in the midst of buying a new kit but probably a DW or Gretsch kit? I like lots of different tones and textures so at least four toms but five is better, single kick…. 22 or 24…. And a LOT of brass…. Can’t have too many options for cymbal tones at arms reach.
