Wraps N’ Kush, a Roots Reggae Rock band with a unique soul penetrating sound, is the main source of live instrumentation for the artists on the JahGydeYah Records roster. The band comprises of Grammy nominated producer Steven “Purpose” Chung on bass, Vincent “Vinnie” Hamilton on keyboards, Juan “Juanito” Ruiz, Eduardo “Eddie” Gross on guitars, Kwame Wallen on drums, and Gamal “Fada G” Clunis on percussions.
The JahGydeYah Records artists that dominate lead vocal duties include JahYut the Furna Burna, G Cole, and J Williams. Other artists in the JahGydeYah camp include Sharate, Doubles, Future Kulcha, amongst others. Each artist brings their own unique sound to the stage, and thus the music played by the band spans Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Soul.
JahYut’s album “Mountains to Climb” is in stores now, as well as G Cole’s album “This Music Vol 1. Return to Vintage”. Grammy nominated songwriter J. Williams is currently working on his debut album “Love Roots Rock Move.” With a vast catalogue of unique and eclectic music, the sky’s the limit for this group of talented artists, and musicians.
