Indie Pop with a touch of punk flare. The self reflective subject matters are easily digestible, and by no way do they gloss over the human condition. Offering up wounds for listeners to dissect is nothing new. They just do it in a more forgiving way. With the release of the "Compose Yourself" EP, The City and Skyway have comprised a five song flurry of energy and power, draped in melodically driven hooks.
Founding members have a long and colorfull history. Some of their past line ups include members of Dashboard Confessionals, Lifetime,Hey Mercedes, The Promise Ring, Maritime, Weston, Limbeck, and The Benjamins.
