ABOUT

Playing drums for the past 15+ years and been hunting for a band for sometime. Basically off and on due to life getting in the way as life only can. I have many influences for those listed to well metal bands like Metallica, Megadeth and Slipknot. What I truly want out of the band I create or join is a solid Rock band. I play for the love of the craft and wish to expose the crowd to said craft.

What I see as the best Rock band is a Vocalist, Lead Guitarist, Rhythm Guitarist, Bassist and Drums. Of course a Keyboardist would add an extra layer of awesome to the band in my opinion. As well I have no issues with a single guitarist but I think it would help get the pressure off the solo guitarist to have a partner that can either do the solo/lead work or be a solid rhythm player.

I was last with a fellow musician around the area who is a talented singer/guitarist. We jammed and hit it off at first and it felt so dang good. We then later got together to work on material cause we got a free EP in the works but I think the deadline stressed me out along with life at the moment. We kind of broke apart after we did a somewhat All-Nighter. If I could do it over I would have us focus on jamming/getting material together as we jammed and then kind of got lazy at the "tail end".

Now hard part of why getting a band together is a pain: I currently don't drive and was about to go for my license before Covid-19 came to town and literally shut down everything. In my town our DMV wants you to go to the driver schools in town to take the tests instead of the old days of at the literal DMV. So anyone wanting to jam I have no issues doing so as I have a small space for like me and one other musician. But I'm open to loading my gear up and being picked-up as it were if it can lead to a great jam session and hopefully into something epic. Just know I want us to work long and hard on our material without worrying about deadlines at the offset haha. I want our stuff to kick butt to the point we're all happy with it to then record it.

If any questions or info please email me at (Ya-hoo) murps434 I'll do my best to respond to any and all questions I can.
