ABOUT
I'm a retired IT Director for whom music is my essential spiritual pursuit.
For 14 years I've played with Evanston-based Young Hazel which evolved into Can't Let Go; we played recreationally and for hire. We covered an eclectic mix of songs that appealed to all of us and covered broad styles from pop, rock, jazz, bluegrass, country, soul, or whatever.
For five years I was a member of the Greenleaf Band, a group that plays originals by its two founders. We played out frequently in a variety of venues from street festivals to clubs.
Finally, I formed a blues group in two years that plays a range of blues and jazz tunes. We performed for block parties.
I’m now in two groups inDurham: the Old North State Jam, an Americana band that is I open to all comers, and String Break, an Americana cover band with bluegrass instrumentation.
