Denise is a Jersey Girl, but considers herself an adopted Texan. Currently she is cofounder, lead singer, rhythm guitarist and percussionist of the local rock band Brunette Sky. For 3 years straight, Denise's band was proudly invited to entertain on opening night for the Remax Ballunar Festival at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX (2005-2007).
Lead vocalist in many bands throughout her music career, she performed at popular venues such as Kemah Boardwalk , Sherlocks, Seabrook Beachclub, R&R Sports Bar, The Balanese Room, Bojangles, Fitzgerald's, Rockefeller's, Z Street and The Roxy among many others. In previous years, Denise toured as a lead/backup vocalist for a variety showband within the Sheraton, Ramada and Holiday Inn showroom circuits.
