ABOUT

*WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR*

I'm looking for experienced musicians to join my full-time band. In the past year, I've had success with Spotify/be/Apple Music, and I'd like to bring my original material (as well as some covers) to live venues here in the San Diego and beyond. I will take care of marketing and booking—just need some talented and *highly* committed players to fill the ranks!

*GOALS*

While I'm currently focused on live performances, this year I also aim to venture out to the livestream format and an eventual return to the studio.

*BACKGROUND*

My EP, "Spark and Gasoline" (released in Apr. 2, 2021), covers the emotions and experiences that I went through after returning to San Diego from a multi-month long Latin America trip in mid-2019 up to the first few days of quarantine in 2020. I've written all of my songs with my Washburn J600 and have fleshed them out in the studio (Pacific Beat Recording and Capricorn Studios) with the help of other professional musicians.

Now that this is EP is out, I'm looking to form a permanent band that can help me play this material live (along with a couple of covers). I've sang for cover bands since high school and have played many live gigs since those days. However, this will be my first foray as an original act, and I've already begun to grow a dedicated following (see stats below).

*WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU*

Members of the band would split revenue from venue-paid performances. For smaller local shows, I wouldn't take a share from this split. Also—I would fund any studio time, music videos, or live production. Every musician who is featured in future studio recordings will be paid for recording their parts. In the past year, I've worked with session musicians (who've all been paid in the 3 figures range). Though, once a touring/live band is formed, there's a high probability I will mostly use the same players in the studio for my next projects.

Once the band begins to exclusively play paid performances, I may be able to offer some cash incentives outside of what the venues pay. However, free exhibition performances are to be expected in the beginning of the band's lifecycle when the fanbase is niche/small.
