ABOUT

ONEoverZERO is a very original, high-energy fusion of its strongest influences, from the music of West Africa to American funk and old school hip-hop. The band organized and debuted at the Occupy Metronome event in the fall of 2011 and despite a short run of only 18 months, had a noticeable impact on the Vermont musical landscape. In that time the band performed at Higher Ground and many of Vermont’s most popular venues, released a live CD from Nectars, and played community events, local festivals, and in the main legislative chamber of the Vermont Statehouse. At the end of its run, ONEoverZERO was given the award for Best New Band in NH and VT for 2011-2012 at the Cider Magazine awards show at the Paramount Theater in Rutland.

In the summer of 2016, ONEoverZERO reconvened to begin tracking its first studio record and prepare for a second run of live shows starting with the Vermont Music Festival in August
