I am a guitarist and songwriter with many years of experience and have formed a band with a female lead vocalist/lyricist and drummer, both of whom also have many years of experience with varied musical genres. We have been building a set list including about a dozen originals and a handful of covers, and we are now at a point where we need a bassist to round out the sound and prepare to play live/record. While we avoid pigeon-holing ourselves into one specific writing style or genre, most of what we are writing could loosely fall under the umbrella of indie pop with folk, jazz, country rock, and post-punk influences thrown in.
