30+ year casual bass and rhythm player ... I have always played for fun and enjoyment. Tired of playing alone though, would like to be part of something a bit more than a one man gig. No formal training, however, I have a great ear and sense of music and I have always picked things up fairly quickly. I have my own personal favorites but in general, I really enjoy playing just about anything. I was not gifted much in the voice department but I can bring a solid chorus or harmony that will stand up solidly behind you. I'm not now nor have ever been a front-man. I'm starting to delve a bit deeper into the whole computer based mix of things through an interface. This has been interesting, different but interesting. Apparently this is an important part of the mix of things these days and I'm having fun figuring it out. Played many live gigs in collage, but then again, that was over 25 years ago. I still actively play today, just not in a band. be has made things so much more easy and fun these days, wish this would have been around in 1985, I'd have figured it all out by now if that was the case.

Influences
Most everything ... I really like most forms of music and can play most any genre. However, what really catches my ear is a song that is out of the ordinary, no matter the genre, sound or band; whether it be a riff, run or even the whole song. If it is something that might be out of the ordinary and sounds out of place, I love that sh*t man! Have always loved U2 since early 80's, Rock, Southern Rock, Grunge, and even Country is getting better by the day. I am a lover of most all music so to list influences that effect my style of play or some type of favorite artist or genre is pointless bullsh*t. I like most everything, because music is is just that, its music ... it either speaks to you or it doesn't ... it's no biggie, we all love music in our own personal way.
