I picked up the bass while in high school many years ago. I didn't apply myself much, so I didn't learn much. After graduation, I put it down and didn't pick it back up again until about 3 years ago. I'm still not that good, but I do well enough to keep up with the praise band at my church. I'm willing to attempt any style of music as well as learn new styles. I can read sheet music, but, in my opinion, I do better with chord sheets and playing along. If you are somewhat local to my area and are looking for a bassist, please let me know.
