Have played guitar seriously for over 30 years, mando and keyboards for approx 4 years. Seeking professional types after returning from 10 year hiatus away from the business. Priorities you know God, Family, Music. I am also a licensed Michigan attorney. I am most interested in an organ trio type arrangement playing classic jazz standards ala Jimmy Smith,Groove Holmes Wynton Kelly, Wes, Kenny Burrell and originals. Although primarily interested in classic jazz, also open to classic rock, bluegrass,and Indie bluegrass.

Influences
All of life & any musical artist can be inspirational. As for contemporary groups/musicians I listen to now and then: Allison Krause, Marc Cohen, Fourplay, Pat Methany group. Instrumental influences include on Guitar; Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Wes, Kenny Burrell, Jimmy Bruno, Loeb, Methany, Ritenour & Carlton, Tommy Emmanuel Sax; Parker, Michael Brecker, Warren Hill and Joshua Redmen, Keyboards/vibes; Fredrick Chopin, Bill Evans, Joe Zawinul, Chick Corea, Monty Alexander, Bob James, Bobby Hutcherson, Mike Mainieri. Roots grounded in Detroit and strongly influenced by 60's 70's classic Detroit rock and of course Motown. As lead guitar, our last band focused on the music of Chicago, Santana, BS&T, EW&F, & Tower of Power. Ala County/Bluegrass not really into today's county and prefer more traditional Monroe, Krause, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas and Osborne music, Chris Thile, Nicklecreek & Hickory project also strike my fancy.
EQUIPMENT
Currently playing Gibson 339, Ibanez AG 95, & MIM HSS strat electrics, Guild D50 acoustic& Morgan Monroe, acoustic electric; Eastman 615 acoustic mando. I am using a Yamaha 1000 keyboard for instrumentals and composition via Cubase 5 old school.
