My name is Reana Kirzten (Artist Name: KiRzTen). I am a professional vocalist, keyboardist, producer, composer/arranger, mixing engineer, sound designer, and student at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Electronic Production & Design (EPD) with a minor in Visual Arts/Media. I have been trained in classical piano and the pop-ballad singing style. As of recently, I specialize in the production of electronic, pop, film/orchestral, and progressive electro-fusion music with a seamless blend of conventional and experimental sonic aspects. I like to incorporate a mix of a wide variety of genres to my music and place an emphasis on the dynamic quality of my productions.
I was an active participant in various musically-affiliated organizations such as the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) enrolled in the Certificate of Merit (CM) program from 2014 to 2017, where I was trained by Ophelia Raboca, the founder of the San Jose Academy of Music (SJAM). I received CM advancement awards for the study of piano proficiency and numerous recital awards for three consecutive years. I have also been selected to perform at the 2014 CM Branch Honors Recital and the 2015 New Materials State Convention as a result for obtaining soaring scores on MTAC’s CM evaluation.
In terms of my recent endeavors at Berklee College of Music, I've been a featured vocalist in several peer recitals and concerts, and I help teach music technology/sound design concepts, DAW fundamentals, vocal performance techniques, and beginner-level music theory to other students. On occasion, I would mix production projects for clients.
Through my many involvements in the music and technical arts fields, I strive to apply my areas of expertise to work alongside dedicated musicians that are passionate about their artistry, and bring my unwavering optimism to the table in order to develop masterpieces that would inspire others to utilize their creative potential and help transform the music industry.
