Band to Join.

I'm looking for a band based in Charlottte, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC with steady bookings or something coming up. I have plenty of time to rehearse, record, and travel.

I've had a lot of recording experience starting in High School, then 3 years at Creative Music Concepts at 1650 Broadway in NYC in the early 90's, recorded with Eddie Z at the Playroom, Reflections &amp; many other Charlotte NC area studios.

I have done tons of gigs including opening for Rod Stewart at PNC Pavillion back when it was called Blockbuster Pavillion in 2000, won Mars Music battle of the bands, and had airplay on several commercial stations for a while in the 90's thanks to a promoter in LA named Jon Flannagan. He got one of my originals charting in CMJ magazine's top 10 for many weeks in various cities.

I chose 4-5 nights a week availability for bookigs because anymore than that is just too hard on someone's voice and leaves no downtime to rest it. I would be fine with doing 2 or 3 gigs a week also, and depending on the number of hours I could do more than 4 or 5 if they're short.

Influences

I grew up listening to 70's disco, 80's &amp; 90's rock. I sound like different singers depending on what I'm doing at the time. I have a 3+ octive range and can hit all the notes if you want to do any Heart, Journey, Whitesnake, Tesla etc. Bands like the Eagles, 38 Special, Blue Oyster Cult, Joe Jackson, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls &amp; tons of others where the vocals are all in the same lower range are super easy for me.

I can do these vocals &amp; sound a lot like these artists which would work if you're doing a tribute band:
Pat Benetar, Patty Smyth, Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, Gwen Stefani, Blondie, Madonna, even Cher (although I have to make sure I don't laugh when I do my Cher impression).
