Hiya, i’m AJ! I’m a local non-binary Detroit artist looking to create with other local artists who care about their community. I'm looking to learn, teach, and experience as much as I can.
I'm a fourth year music business major at Wayne State University and I want to build real artistic connections with musicians of all kinds.

Influences
Moses Sumney is currently my biggest influence. King Krule, Tyler the Creator, and Frank Ocean are all really big influences for me as well (because of their innovative use of maj7 chords and ambiguity paired with their images as artists). My most important vocal inspiration will always be Ella Fitzgerald though. But of course, I’m open to enjoying, exploring, and practicing styles that are outside of my comfort zone!
