I am a professional drummer / percussionist who reads music, can sing back-up or do some lead vocals, and who has a ton of experience playing in rock/pop bands, for private parties and corporate events. I have been on the road, toured, done a gazillion club dates, played for shows, and consider myself to be a very musical drummer. In addition to drum set, I also play percussion for musicals, operas and symphony concerts. The styles I am most experienced with include: pops, rock, classic rock, country, jazz, light Latin, Broadway, classical and other various styles as needed.

Influences
When I was a kid I listened to Buddy Rich and in the '80s I loved Neil Pert and Mick Fleetwood. Personally I think most of the great drummers have something to offer and I listen to a variety of groups and musicians. I don't identify with any one particular artist.

EQUIPMENT
My jazz set is an old Ludwig vintage set from the late 1960's. My rock set includes a 24" bass drum with an assortment of toms and cymbal sounds. I vary my set depending on the type of gig and style of music. My rock set is a mixed set of black drums: Fibes, Tama, and I use a Rogers vintage metal snare from the 1960's. I also have several other snare drums. I also mix up my cymbals depending on the gig and have different sizes and colors and special effects cymbals. For shows, concerts and pit work I have everything major: timpani, xylophone, vibes, orchestra bells, chimes, bell tree, mark tree, gongs, sound effects, misc. Latin percussion gear including congas, bongos, timbales, etc., etc. And I own a large concert bass drum and tons of additional gear. - I have a lot of experience and am a very strong player and good musician.
