I've been playing bass in all sorts of bands since I was in 8th grade. I love playing and working on original music! Ideally I'd find a band that strikes a balance between covers (to pay the bills) and original music so its not just tossing money down a bottomless hole. Would prefer to rehearse weeknights after 6pm.
I mostly play bass. I can play other string instruments. I'm not good enough at guitar/mando/uke to just pick it up and play, I'll usually have to work out my parts beforehand.

Influences
Lots of stuff! I grew up listening to Motown, blue grass, country, and folk. Once I hit puberty that turned into punk, metal, and jazz. My playing style is funk punk? Groove punk? I have no idea.
I'm always trying to get better at my instrument. Currently working my way through CHIC tunes because I recently bought a Stingray bass and Bernard Edwards is the man.

EQUIPMENT
9/10 I play a P-bass. Currently playing stuff in B and E standard. I have a fretless. Also own a Jazz bass, stingray, and a goldtone microbass which sounds like an upright.
I play Aguilar amps and cabs live. I own an Ampeg B15 for recording.
