ABOUT

Not sure what to put here -- will just try a stream-of-consciousness approach. I haven't heard from anyone in about a year so will switch it up a little. Maye
slap up some samples in a few days to give a better idea of where I'm coming from musically. Would like to get a core of two of three musicians together for recording project. Open to live also, but can't really tour (Wow, just got waaaaaaaaay ahead of myself there)

Have collaborated well in the past w/ Drummers, Singers. Would also be interested if there are lyricists out there. I like writing music a lot, but do not really enjoy writing lyrics. Like male & femaie singers about the same -- just depends on the right feel for the music. Would put expression above precision, but probably mainly looking for people that have their chops down.

Laid back and collaborative. Looking to move pretty fast thought so hoping to find some people that are ready.

Remote collaboration is fine too.

Influences

Garage, Surf, Beatles, VU, Hard Rock, Motown, Folk, Alternative Bands (80's - 90's primarily), Melodic music. Variety is great. Of the more recent bands probably Beach House are the last band that really impressed me. Like a lot of Scottish bands for some reason (Camera Obscura, Jesus and Mary Chain...). Mitch Mitchell type drumming is really awesome -- not so keen on Neil Peart type maximalism. Really like Poetic lyrics.

Non-Influences:
Auto-tuned garbage, Fake Shoe-gazers, Kenny G, 'Goat' style of singing (like Eddy Vedder and that Canadian Band most people can't stand -- Laine Staley is awesome though),
Nu-Metal and stuff that is too clean. Humourless rock (unless it sounds like Joy Division). Whatever it is when someone sings all over the place and lose the melody.

Members Of Band

This is a concept and 'Blue Wizzards' is really just a placeholder. Band name negotiable. Its better to have a bad name and a great sound then the opposite.
