We are a Soul collective that is focused on performing covers of the masters of the past. Live performance is a lost art, and technology has changed the way we look at music. That is something we're going to correct. The genres will morph into other things as the musicians gravitate toward what they really want to do. Right here, and right now, we represent the streets: Gospel, Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, and Funk. The era is the 1960s to the mid 1970s. This isn't "neo-soul." Soul music is forever and never went away. People did know, and classify their own version of Soul.
The venues we'll play will range from the Tri-State area, all the way to California. Coast to Coast. Everything that happens occurs in rehearsal and that is where performances come alive. We're focused on how it was before the corporate mindset engulfed music and became the 'recording industry.' Soul music represents life and experience. It isn't a style. It is life itself.
As a collective, we will shift and adjust to the circumstances, in terms of where and when we perform and practice. Our collective consciousness communicates this idea as being 'Superheroes.' In sports, we'd be a 'Dream-team' or 'All-Stars.' In reality, our task is to be humble musicians that are focused on an unified purpose: entertain the audience and respect one another.
