ABOUT

Hi guys, a little background, I grew up on classic and contemporary country, blues, blue grass, rock-n-roll, and classic rock. These genres are the ones that pull my heart strings and are the closets to home for me. I have been playing acoustic guitar for 9-10 years. Was pretty committed to open-mic nights in college and after. Played at a bunch of bars but my highlights have been: 8 Seconds Saloon Battle of the Bands, Indy 500 Coke Lot, The Hedgehog in Arcadia Indiana, The Annual Howell Block Party, and just about every bonfire from here to the Ohio River.

I have always been a solo artist and have always played acoustically. I would consider myself a leader of any group...but having said that I am not power hungry or egotistical. On the contrary, every good leader/general I make it a point to realize and utilize people's individual strengths. That's what a real band is...a group of musicians playing (no pun intended...or was it) off each other's strengths. I know that I am not the best at everything and that's what I love the most. Experiencing and meshing people's talent to create something holistically that is pretty awesome.

I'll be transparent, I have never been involved in a real band of committed musicians that want to be good and that want to take a real stab at playing. But that is what I'm craving.

My goal is to become a known an reputable name in Indianapolis very quickly. Then who knows where it would go.

So to echo some folks around here, I am looking to be a part of a band that develops awesome music. Leave your ego at the door, be ready to learn and develop together.
