Melodic death metal band. Our debut EP has gotten an excellent reception, currently at over 20,000 plays as of early May after having been up since the beginning of 2014 (://bit.ly/Deadtide-EphemeralOnbe), and is in rotation on various metal stations. Right now, we're very serious about writing and recording while we assemble the missing pieces in our lineup before we start playing live shows again. Currently working on our full-length and seeing where the ride takes us.

Looking for a few open-minded metal musicians with eclectic musical taste and interested in playing this style of metal, which has a nice mix of beauty & brutality:

Advanced metal guitarist comfortable playing in both drop tuning (drop B is our current tuning) and standard, and with writing solos (anything from beautiful melody and harmony licks, to shred-ready).

If possible, a MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST who can play keyboards and whatever other alternative instrument necessary, both in-studio and live... including: Veteran on the piano/keyboard for a metal band (both piano and atmospheric-type synth stuff. Think of a mix of anything from simple atmospheric background support, to the haunting piano work in Eternal Tears of Sorrow, to even a little old-Children-of-Bodom type shreddage).
