I'm a singer/songwriter. Have played in many bands across the southern states. In 2015, I placed 2nd in a nationwide talent competition held at the Dallas Convention Center. In 2006, I opened for Sawyer Brown at Churchhill Downs in Kentucky.I am retired now. I'm not young, but I sing and play with the enthusiasm of a much younger guy. I love to write, sing, and play music with other musicians. I am a lead vocalist/ lead or rhythm guitarist, however if you're a good picker and vocalist, I have no problem sharing lead guitar and/or lead vocals. I have a bass player...not just a bass player, but a damn good one. We are a couple of seasoned pickers looking for a few GOOD musicians. We've been working on our set list for a year...at this point we have 60+ songs tight with starts and stops..we've played with a couple of drummers but not the right one yet. We are open to consider your instrumentation ...vocals a plus.. We are looking for only serious musicians that will make practices and want to play in a tight band with goal of live gigs.
