Everything from classical to blues to country to pop to rock to metal to a little rap. I am very eclectic, but I would consider the music I tend to write and play to fall into a Pop-Rock/Powerpop category. If I could describe my sound, I'd call it "NeoSonic Rock".

EQUIPMENT

Here in Finland, I have a 1974 Hagström Swede (electric guitar), a Yamaha A1R (acoustic/electric guitar), a Fender Mustang III V2 112 combo amplifier, a Dunlop Mini Crybaby Wah, a TC Electronic Ditto II Looper pedal, a Digitech Trio pedal, a Casio CTK-3500 keyboard, and a Lanikai ukulele (soprano). I also have a ton of gear still back in the States.

Past Events

Sing-a-long style performance feature popular songs from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, u2, Nirvana, The Who, The Beatles, and many more. This event is for MHAW (Mental Health Art Week) and is free for all attendees. The show is at the Lahopuuta theater in Kirjurinluoto park in Pori. Music begins at 3:00 pm and goes until 5:00 pm.

Pori's "World Marketplace" show for MHAW (Mental Health Art Week) features artistic performances from around the world onstage in the city centre market square. There will be African drumming, Brazilian dance, Indiana dancing, Greek Dancing, music from the United States (that's me), and more. There will also be food and other refreshments available in the marketplace. The event starts at 12:00 pm and goes until 2:00 pm.

I'll be back at Smoke BBQ in Bethesda with Zek Lightning on July 9th, so stop in and enjoy some great live music. I've got a great variety of songs that I'll be performing. There's a nice selection of beer and yummy food to keep you there listening all night. Please, bring your friends.

My buddy, Sean Rhodes (of Aries fame) and I will be back at Hellas Restaurant and Lounge in Millersville, MD on Friday, December 18, 2015. We start playing at 9:00 PM and go until 1:00/1:30 AM. Hellas offers an excellent beer and wine selection and some fantastic entrees (such as Maryland crabcakes and gyros). As always, we will be playing a nice variety of songs and we intended to include a few holiday favorites since 'tis the season.

I'll be playing Smoke BBQ in Bethesda, MD on Saturday, November 7, 2015. The music starts at 9:30pm and goes at least until midnight, but I could play as late as 2:00am. There is a great beer selection and really delicious barbeque and other food available from the kitchen. My sets contain a variety of songs from multiple genres and decades. Definitely stop in for a pint and some brisket and let me entertain you for the evening.
