CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR PAID DRUMMER POSITION
At Gaines Church, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible--a church with relevant teaching, a love for God's word, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We desire to become a community of Christ followers that have a contagious Christianity that will influence and encourage people around us, one life at a time. Whether you are new to the whole church thing, or you've been around the pew a couple of times, you can find a home here at Gaines Church.
Interested artists will be auditioned (casual meeting with 2 staff members). Artists must be active Christians who aren't perfect, but are actively seeking to honor God with their lives.
Compensation is typically a flat stipend but may be paid hourly at the discretion of the assigned leader to the listed max.
WHO IS COMPENSATED: Gaines Church thrives on volunteer musicians from people who call it "home," but when such staffing is not available or sufficient, we seek assistance from those outside of Gaines Church. Gaines Church is grateful to be blessed by talented individuals who do not call Gaines Church home. It is our standard to compensate such individuals unless a specific request has been made (by the musician) to waive the compensation.
COMMITMENT: Thursday Rehearsal 6:45 PM-9 PM, Sunday Rehearsal and Service 9:45 AM-12:00 PM "ish" :)
