I started playing bass guitar about 8 years ago. I am a dedicated bassist( not relegated to bass). I have taken lessons the whole time and continue to take lessons. I worked my way up to playing in two bands in Austin. I did it for fun and for the challenge of learning something new. We played mostly covers but did originals as well. We all had other careers and music was an outlet. We practiced 1-2 times per week at my house. I had and have a dedicated room with a mixing board, PA system, amps, etc We played by invitation but got pretty busy. Recently retired and moved to Shalimar, Florida
