What's up? I'm Jon...

Looking for a guitarist(s) and bassist for an original band to join myself and a drummer. I've been playing guitar for about 7-8 years, but would like my primary focus to be on vocals these days.

We're both dedicated and have bigger goals than occasionally playing local bars on the weekends. So, we're looking for people who have that same level of dedication, who can make this a priority in their lives. People who want to work their asses off and ultimately tour.

Musically, looking for people who can take the lead on writing guitar and bass parts and are confident in their songwriting abilities.

We're by no means veteran players, so there's obviously a learning curve for all of us. Just looking to get talented people in the same room with a common goal and we'll see what happens from there.

Influences

Layne Staley, Eddie Vedder, Days of the New, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Alter Bridge. Basically anything that is or stems from the 90s rock/grunge scene or post-grunge.

Love classic rock, but I don't know how much of an influence it is on how I sing/play. Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, The Guess Who...plenty of others.

Also enjoy a lot of metal, but not really trying to go that direction.
