ABOUT

I have been singing for many years. I started at piano for a few years when I was in grade school. I didn't really get serious until my junior year in high School where I entered a talent contest and got second place. I never had any vocal training and this was the first huge crowd I ever sang for. My senior year I auditioned for the rock opera 'Tommy" playing sold out shows and even recorded a vinyl LP. Played various club bands after high school off an on since. For five years I was involved in Contemporary Church music and sang a few songs on a CD as well as well as special performances and weekly services. I have only played out in the last ten years a few times doing benefits.This spring I got involved in file sharing and a featured guest on the Higher Livin' band from Italy and was added a a special guest. I just got done recording an all original album "The Harms Way Project" that will be released before Christmas on Amazon. There a a few videos of that project on You Tube but will soon be taken down with the final mixes added and new posts as well. I was not the writer or video produce of this. On the CD and sing all but two songs. A follow up release is in the works.This project includes sixteen musicians from all over the world. I am working on my own original songs and a few from other artists as well mainly just doing lead vocals.Maybe in time I will play out more.

Journey. Loreena McKennitt, Styx,REO Nugent,,Zepplin,Yes, CSN&Y,Neil Young,Dylan.All the Motown artists,all the oldies, Four Seasons.Black Sabbath, Queensryche,CCR.you name it ,all of if it has rubbed off on me. I grew up in the best of times musically and I can't think of them all at this point. there are so many. I have done so many covers that you have to get to the point that you find out who you are. I can go many directions musically. I am at a point that I want to focus on original music but will still do covers as well..

EQUIPMENT

I record with Pro tools Le and have various pieces of gear. As far as vocals I can plug in with SM58 and leave it up to the sound man. I have signal processing as well. Acoustic guitar, keyboards, Native American Flute, Ocarina, and very soon a Hurdy Gurdy. I would like to perform rock live as well as acoustic. I am very into Renaissance music and from the old world to Folk just playing and singing acoustically. It is so natural and connected to nature. I am mainly a rock singer and exploring different directions.
