Hey! My name is Josh and I recently moved to Oakland to attend classes at the University of Pittsburgh. Music is a huge part of my life, so much so that I considered for a time attending a music college in order to make my dreams a reality. I am a student at Pitt currently, but if I can make music work then thats what I am going to do. I am extremely motivated and eager to delve into the music scene here in Pittsburgh. I write a lot of originals and would love to have some like minded musicians to collaborate with and hopefully start something big. Music is more to me than just sounding nice; it's a way to spread ideas, a way to influence, a way to make a difference in the world. If you hear me, hit me up and lets rock!

Influences
I'm interested in combining the instrumental aspects of alternative rock/funk with the lyrical style of hip hop/rap music. If you want the most prime example of what I am going for vocally, listen to the band Dispatch. Some of my other musical influences are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack Johnson, Sublime, Dirty Heads, Twenty one Pilots, Arctic Monkeys, Young the Giant (to name a few)
