ABOUT

I am currently playing with the classic rock band Ambush (and loving every minute of it!) But, I would also like to make connections with other like-minded musicians for additional gigs or side projects - (Acoustic, Country, Rock, Blues, 70s, 80s, etc., etc.)

I am fairly new to the NC coast from Michigan (since October of 2023). As a Vocalist/Bassist (and guitarist) I have 47 years of playing experience in multiple genres on various stages from intimate acoustic gigs, weddings, rock bars and road bands to opening for major artists.

I am a team player who can sing lead or backup vox/harmonies and knows how to work a mic. To give you an idea of my vocal range/type my list includes (but isn't limited to) songs by Lady Gaga, Journey, Linda Ronstadt, Pat Benatar, Heart, Pink, Survivior, kd lang, Melissa Etheridge, Patsy Cline, Etta James, Anne Murray, Sugarland, Madonna, Forester Sisters, Dio, Skid Row, The Pretty Reckless, Led Zeppelin, etc. (and 4 Non Blondes, Joplin etc. if needed). I began playing the guitar at the age of 10 and started earning $ for it at the age of 13. I switched to bass out of necessity 3 decades ago and realized it was my true instrumental love. It is my hope that my experience and continuing desire to learn and grow as a musician will be an asset for coastal area groups and that it will lead to long-term working relationships and foster enduring friendships.
