ABOUT

s://loukelly.

At this time, I am not looking to enter into any projects and I apologize if I decline any offers/auditions.
I haven't deleted this profile yet in case circumstances change and I change my mind.

------------------

I come from a primarily punk/metal and experimental background but I, like most musicians, like to believe that I have fairly eclectic tastes (to paraphrase a good quote I heard a while back, "I'm not a fan of any genre in particular. I'm a fan of good songs".

Electric guitar is my primary instrument. I would like to believe I'm a competent lead guitarist in anything rock and metal (well, as long as it doesn't involve sweep picking. Gotta admit your limits sometimes). Blues, funk, and a little faux-jazz are loads of fun to play as well.

My voice naturally sits in the bass/baritone register but I have a tendency to sing in a tenor range or higher for some strange reason. If I'm having a good day, I can sing some power metal that's acceptable to the ear. I'm no stranger to death metal growls and false chord screams/shouts.

To the forgiving ear, I can get by on some keyboard.

I know my way around MIDI programming and music production.
