Here is me drumming for my old band in case you want to make sure I can hold down a groove. s://./absentiaband
Just started with a group of guys that seem to want to do mostly blues stuff with occasional digressions into jazz. About 75 percent cover tunes.
We all have separate jobs, so the gigging schedule would be fairly relaxed. Rehearsals are once a week at Astoria Soundworks.

For me: Portnoy-era Dream Theater, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Metallica, Maiden, Yes, Chick Corea's Akoustic Band, George Benson, The YellowJackets, Diana Krall, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer
Drumming wise, Mike Portnoy, Carter Beauford, and Dave Weckl are the top three though many others like Gavin Harrison are close up there as well.
