Hi. I am MGV Sumerall. I am the author of "Forced To Be Here" - a mental health and suicide awareness novel (on Amazon). Forced To Be Here is an intimate look into a love story of Rooted's lead singer, Ford Presley Nerlins and his wife, Jenny, as they navigate fame and struggle with mental health issues, depression, feelings of isolation and thoughts of suicide. FTBH is based on true events of my life while working with rock bands such as; 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Candlebox, 7Mary3, Stroke 9, Default and Oleander.
I am looking for a singer/songwriter to help co-write my lyrics. I recently released four songs to Spotify and all music platforms in support of my novel. Songs are Rust, Never Needed A Hero, Here In Alabama and Dang Thang by Rooted.
