We are an Oasis tribute band looking for a bassist and a drummer. Potentially a rhythm guitarist too.
We formed out of the ashes of a previous covers group (song clips attached - very LoFi recordings!), where a couple of Oasis covers were some of our stronger tunes: Rock 'n' Roll Star and Supersonic.
From speaking to other bands and bars, there does appear to be a real gap in the market for a solid Oasis covers band. We'd be looking to combine better known tunes with some of their lesser known material, some of which is surprisingly good!
Our singer is from the UK which will help with the 'sell' to venues, and can rustle up a decent Liam or Noel, although we'd be interested in hearing from anyone with backing vocal skills too.
The plan is to get a tight set together quickly, and then gig in Manhattan/Brooklyn around once a month. We're open to discussing the set list, approach and how things might evolve.
Normally rehearse either in Manhattan or Astoria Soundworks.
