A "Classic Country, Rock, & Original Music Lead Guitarist," experienced & dependable with pro gear, attitude, & dependable transportation.

I am seeking an opportunity with the right group of musicians with similiar skills and ideas as a "hired gun, or regular" given the right opportunity. REHEARSALS ARE OK!

(Preference to working Band situation)

I am virtually a well rounded "middle of the road" lead guitarist & backup vocalist.

I have rock & roll roots, and play country, blues and original music. I can sing lead vocals.

MY BRIEF MUSIC BACKGROUND:

In my early music years, I made a living performing in commercial, country, & rock venues. I played guitar for recording artist "The Unknowns," on a "Foundation Records Label" for Tom Hayes Mgr, of Talent Inc.

1970s - Were busy years for me and there was an economic downturn in the industry, so I found another reliable fulltime career until working myself into a retirement position. During those years, I kept my music path active along the way!

I backed many "talented recording artists - entertainers" both male & female during my full & part time music performance years.

* Pro-golfer & song writer John Daly, Gary McCray, Stoney Edwards, Bobby Thompson, Patty Mac, Jan Bolin, Jody Bennett, Dale Davis, Rusty Atherton, Dusty Sylvers, just to name a few artist performers.

Former staff guitarist for Nashville's Shawnee Britton & John Paterson's Country Music USA Road Show, Oklahoma Division.

Played rhythm guitar for "TPJ Label" Recording Artist Bobby Thompson, Jimmy Dean's lead guitarist Hershel Witt was the # 1 chair.

Guitarist for singer - songwriter and artist Gary McCray before he signed with Sony!

Lead Guitarist for Choctaw Creek Band, featuring Rusty Atherton. We opened in concert for Capitol Recording Artist Stoney Edward's, a Connie Mac Production.

Lead Guitarist for Eddie Brandon, Elvis impersonator-entertainer. Eddie secured a role in the "King of Rock & Roll Movie," in Hollywood, California.

Lead Guitarist for Rock Touring Band "Thunderhead," referred to as Oklahoma's premier "Heart" copy band, a Stretch Head Production. We opened in concert for Gary Lewis & The Playboys at the Long Branch Saloon in OKC.

1980s & 90s - Guitarist for.country-rock touring band Breakheart Pass, featuring Dusty Sylvers & Rusty Atherton. National Agents Cal Steven's in Las Vegas, and Ralph Berger in Chicago.

We opened in concert for Dennis Robbins, Davis Daniel's, and Performed at the Daryl Starbirds Rod & Custom Car Show. Bob Weed was our Manager & Promoter.

2002 - Member, lead guitarist of a song writing - recording musical group; "Prodgenesis." We created all all original music "cd" The Experience & Second Study are marketed on CDBABY.COM on an Indie label. Our music works are still downloaded today.

2009 - Guitarist for an local OKC Country performer & recording artist, no-name, copyright reasons .

(1.5) years contract, &
(13.5) years as a "gun."
I recently resigned 03/2024 to pursue other endeavors. It was really past time to take another path.

2011 - Lead Guitarist for classic rock & country group Geoff Scott Band, aka Blackwater Smoke. Performed 6 years at the Choctaw Oktoberfest, and concert in the park in Harrah, OK. Recorded numerous videos (2) in 2017.

July 2019 - Retired from my primary public service career, and now a "Hired Guitar Slinger, & Freelance Musician."

November 2019 - 2020 - 2021, Covid-19 shutdown the entertainment industry.

2021 - Recorded (3) country music videos with Nashville Recording Artist & Song Writer's Don Stafford & Larry Giles in
July @ Murfreesboro, TN

2022 - 2023 - 2024:
A Freelance Musician, aka, Guitar Slinger!. Performed with, The Dirt Rich Band, Jimmy Lee Jordan Band, The DCB, & Jackie Lee & Steel Country, just to name a few.
