I am currently seeking other like-minded and influenced individuals who play and listen to the same genre of music and/or walk the path/live the life. It's been some time since I have actively been playing, with work and adulting responsibilities setting in and getting in the way, however I find myself yearning more and more to get back to playing again. Now that I have a better handle on life and a more structured foundation personally, it's time to get back to my passion. My schedule is a bit tight, however can fit in a few hours a couple days a week to jam, whatever works and can be a bit flexible.
I have no "High Expectations" or plans on gigging right away. Just "go with the flow" kind of mentality. More laid back, but yes, do want some structure and to work toward that goal ultimately.
I do not drink nor do I do any sort of drugs. That's my own personal choice, had bad experiences with it years ago and learned from it. If you do (with the exception of hardcore drugs) cool, as long as it doesn't cause problems. Like I said, pretty laid back.
My playing style is pretty heavy. Thrashy riffs, a good amount of distortion and gain with a decent amount of chug. There is still something to be said about incorporating some clean tones and effects.. it all depends on where it's going, what everyone is contributing and the feel. A good driving beat and it could go anywhere. I am not, however, big on solos or lead licks. More groove and a solid beat.
Overall I just want to find a drummer/bassist/vocalist to get together and jam. Let things flow naturally and whatever comes of it, awesome. I like to play original, but if its covers, as long as its agreed upon that works too.
