ABOUT
Unafraid to blur the lines between genres, Pulpa de Guayaba is a band hailing from Milwaukee, WI prepared to break out and play their music to the world. Meaning “Guava Pulp”, their namesake is a nod to their diverse roots and the ritual that is their blending of fibrous raw sounds together to concoct intoxicating jams, honoring their countless influences. Leaning primarily into rock, soul, and reggae, their vibes also draw from psychedelic cumbia to smooth jazz and everything in between.
The five piece assembled in 2019 and performed a handful of times around Milwaukee, Wisconsin before the COVID pandemic halted their momentum. This however has only served to help them prepare for 2021 with their debut single releases.
