I'm Rich. I'm 29 and have been playing since I was 14. I have played live in front of small groups when I was in college (classic rock).

I currently play about 2-4 hours a day. I have several 6 string guitars and two 7-strings. I primarily play in Drop C on 6 string, but also play around with other tunings.

My current influences are Periphery, Monuments, Dream Theater, Erra and other modern progressive metal bands, but I have been heavily inspired by Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera and Pink Floyd in the past.

I am currently looking for other metal-minded people to play with and bounce ideas off of. I can play lead guitar (went through a "shred" period and can sweep, tap, alternate pick quick runs) but I feel most at home playing rhythm.
