I've been a musician since I was a child and have experience with piano, guitar, voice and composition. I have the most experience and competence with saxophone, which I've played for close to 20 years. In high school, I was selected for a wide variety of Colorado honor bands for saxophone (Jefferson County All-County Honor Band and Honor Jazz Band, for which I was selected as the principal alto saxophonist my sophomore through senior year; University of Colorado and Colorado State honor bands, both of which I was selected as the principal alto saxophonist; Western State Honor Band; All-State Honor band and Honor Jazz Band). In college, I was the lead alto, then the lead tenor, sax player of the Smith College Jazz Ensemble and played various local professional gigs. Today, I play in a variety of gigging bands that perform around Denver - a jazz quartet, a funk band, and a wedding band.
