ABOUT

A description of myself? I am 27, new to New Hampshire / Concord area and I'm missing my old band from Michigan and I'm searching for a creative outlet and a band to gig with. I grew up around music, it's always been one of the biggest aspects of my life. I've been playing professionally for about 10 years now, but I followed my dad around all through my childhood as he was playing gigs as well, I've seen a lot. I have a lot of experience with live sound production as well, with my old band we usually brought our own PA which I owned. I've always been a bass player but have really enjoyed opportunities to play rhythm or lead guitar and I think my voice isn't terrible, so I enjoy singing as well. I love layers and vocals with unique harmonies. Looking for something that I can commit to with other committed musicians. I would love to play out, there's got to be a good music scene around Concord, isn't there? I would gig as much as I can.

Influences

That's hard, I'm into a lot. Grew up on the Beatles, I'm not really a Stones fan. I appreciate pretty much all classic rock. I love tower of power and other like soul bands. I think Victor Wooten is the best bass player of all time. I just got to see béla fleck and the flecktones in Portland Maine and it was awesome. I love bands like death cab for cutie, the Killers, the shins, blitzen trapper, vulfpeck, presidents of the United States of America, Blind melon, Lake Street dive, Madison Cunningham, The Wood Brothers, steely Dan, and so many more I don't even feel like listing them all.

EQUIPMENT

Eden world tour 600 head with a 410 and 115 cab, good for all sorts of different gigs. Peavey 5-string, g&l vintage 4-string. Guitar rig is a supro Coronado amp, 1962 Harmony rocket double cut away with gold foils. Also a 1980s Yamaha superstrat Pacifica. The Pacifica is my great all-around tone getter where the Harmony is more unique in itself and I love it. Pedals are mostly your standard effects with a couple novelties thrown in, I have a VHS tape echo that is awesome as well as a few other unique effects for fun.
