Hello! I’m a drummer looking for a band. I've mostly played indie rock and shoegaze, but I'm open to playing different rock-based genres.
About me: I've played music all my life and drums since 2017. My drumming influences are John Bonham, Bill Bruford, Ringo, J Dilla, Carter Beauford, and Steve Gadd. As a musician, I try to be able, reliable, and likable. I'm an intermediate player in my 30s.
What I'm looking for: A band with good interpersonal dynamics. I’m serious about making music but I also want to have fun. Ideally, we would practice once a week and gig a few times a month, write and jam as a group, record an album, tour, etc.
My bona fides: For the last few years, I was the drummer for Wetsuit, an indie rock band in NYC. We gigged a lot in NYC and Brooklyn, signed to a record label, recorded and released an album, went on tour, and wrote another album's worth of music before I moved to LA for grad school (I live here and grad school is my full-time day job).
