Do I play metal? I can. But is there a market? And if your band logo uses a font that no one can read, I'm not your guy.
Tribute? Absolutely, if it's popular and there a market to play it.
I'm really looking for level-headed seasoned pros that are looking for the same. I'm done chasing the dream, but I don't have a mortgage or other commitments that preclude me from touring if the gig is right.
Oh, if any member has an ego that doesn't fit the stage, or a name like "Ace" Slick" or any other one-name only variation, don't bother. I'm not your guy. (Unless he or she is really all that)
I'm all about keeping the crowd engaged and dancing. That sells beer, which keeps the venue happy and guarantees us another gig. If you tell me the crowd "just doesn't get your vibe", I'm probably not your guy.
