My main instrument is four string electric bass, but I can hold my own on electric guitar. Rock,funk,jazz blues country; you name it, I'll play it. I sight read a bit, read guitar charts, but have a great ear, and I know theory very well. I have played in various San Diego originals and cover projects since 1984. I have taught bass, guitar, drums, and keys at prominent rock band-based schools throughout San Diego. I also play acoustic finger style guitar, know scales and modes. Looking for a band who needs a good reliable bassist/guitarist without attitude, but plenty of skills. I don't have a premier acct. so please contact me at sprask2112. I have a g mail acct. Influences

My influences vary from Johnny Cash to King Crimson; Rush, to Return to Forever. I have many favorites on bass and guitar: Victor Wooten, Geddy Lee, Stanley Clarke, Les Claypool , JPJ, Graham Maby, Bruce Thomas, James Jamerson, guitar faves are: Lifeson, Satriani, DiMeola, Page, Andy Partridge,Townsend, Roy Gallagher, The list never ends. Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel, Alanis Morrisette, Paramore, No Doubt, as well as all of the pioneers of rock. As long as it's intelligently played and well executed, it's an influence. I was raised on 60's and 70's country, classic rock (before it was considered classic), 80's punk and new wave, but I listen and rock out to it all!
