49 years of drumming, covering just about anything, but mostly country and dance music. Nothing fancy, just your basic "meat and potatoes" drummer, yet I'm no different from most other drummers, and like my "15 seconds of fame" now and then. I'm pretty well known in my clique for keeping a good steady beat, and for my adaptability. I now perform with The Front Porch Ramblers band, and you can see us on . I consider myself a free lancer, so if you need me, and I have that night free, I'm all your's! I was a member of the Professional Musician's and Entertainer's Club of Iowa(PMECI) before the club disbanded earlier this year, and performed at their monthly Hawkeye Jamboree show quite often with various groups & featured guest performers. As an added bonus for some bands/venues, in the last few years, I have learned to play the rhythm bones. Pretty good for bluegrass or Cajun numbers. According to the old pro who showed me how to do it, he says I did pretty good. Bring out a fiddle or a banjo, and we can make some noise there. E mail foghorn91.

Influences

Hell, you name it. I have an appreciation for almost any style of music. Mostly country and southern rock, but I also enjoy 50's style music, as well as some of the golden oldies rock from the 60's and 70's. My motto is what I usually tell musicians at jams: "Throw it at me!"
