Hello! My name is Ian Alexander Wynyard aka yXy (pronounced "easy"). I am a 29 year old computer systems engineer, but I'm looking to change careers.
I have played piano since I was 7 and took to it naturally. I also received classical and jazz training until I was a teenager. My first teacher was the pianist for the Boston Ballet. I participated in competitions when I was little and have been jamming with professionals since I was 15. I have also been playing guitar and singing since I was 12 and have a 4 octave vocal range. I also host karaoke on Friday nights at Hong Kong in Faneuil Hall.
Recently, I took up a job at a studio and had the opportunity to produce my first track wholly on my own. The incomplete demo can be heard on my and the positive feedback has encouraged me to go all-in. Lets do this.

I have a Roland Juno GI keyboard with 2000 sounds and a solid Keyboard/vocal amp. I also have a Deusenberg Starplayer TV Phonic semi-hollow guitar. I have a fully-paid licence for Ableton Live.

This is the first beat I ever made and my first attempt at recording and mastering. This version is incomplete. I have since remastered the track and will be re-recording the vocals ASAP.
