Hey Guys!

We are The Mummy Cats out of Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA and we’re opening up auditions for a drummer. Our current drummer is amazing and has a style that is best described as if Larnell Lewis and Brad Wilk had a baby. His family commitments are super demanding at the moment and we need someone to fill his role. We are unsure if it will be part or full time, but depending on how well you fit with the band it could potentially go either way.

Here’s a quick little rundown of the band:

We’re signed to North Shore Artists out of Chicago for booking and stay consistently booked throughout the southeast/east coast and have minimum guarantees for all talent in the band including travel and food

Our upcoming album is being mixed by Andy Scheps and pitched to major labels on his and a few others behalf

We are working on 10 music videos to accompany our new album and have a robust release plan around the album. You’d get to be in a few. We already have 4 filmed. This is also a paid opportunity.

We are all young self-starters and have the capabilities to do mostly anything in house

Most importantly we are a group of guys who really do it because we love it and put the music first. We all have very diverse backgrounds and skills and have no other intentions but to play music for the rest of our lives
