I started playing guitar at the age of 12. I still have my first guitar, a 1979 Applause acoustic and it has thousands of practice and performance hours on it. I have played in bands professionally for many years in the past. I am now returning to the scene and am hoping to play in a band as a fill in or as a committed performance ensemble in the region of The Black Hills. I have many years of experience and formal training, with lead/rhythm guitar and backing vocals being my forte. I also currently have full sound reinforcement for myself as a guitarist, with many tones and styles available, and a moderate system for a full live production. I am able to learn material relatively quickly and have a fair amount of time to apply to learning set lists and for rehearsals.
